Will I ruin all my laser vein therapy if I take off my compression hose for an hour of bootcamp class this week?

We do not recommend that patients wear stockings immediately after the procedure as it has no known benefits. You can resume wearing tockings 7-10 after the procedure. We simply place an ace bandage over the treated area (thigh and leg) and have the patient remove it the next morning. 

After superficial LASER therapy for 4 days and after endovenous LASER therapy for 12 days the treated area should be compressed. During this period, running and jumping longer than a few minutes should be avoided (physical activities when both feet are off the ground). Everything else, including heavy lifting, steps, Eliptical etc. are fine. The risk is recannalization of the treated vein(s).

If you had a topical laser treatment (on the skin) then I recommend 48 hours of compression but I also do not limit exercise of any kind.  If you had endovenous laser, then I recommend 3 to 5 days of compression and no squats or running for 72 hours but all other excesses have no restrictions. You should be able to go to boot camp without restrictions.
