Dr Khitin evaluated me for my spider veins and I decided to do the treatment same day. Since then, I did another two sessions. They do a combination of laser and injections for best results, and they do an amazing job. I had great results. I did a lot of research before coming in and I'm glad I picked this office.

I had a long history of pain and tenderness in my legs. Dr Khitin really did an amazing job because I have no symptoms I had before and it feels just great. I will schedule my follow up visit this month just to make sure everything is well. Also, they have two locations, and you can pick which is more convenient for each visit.

I had problems with painful legs, heaviness and tiredness since I was 19. Went to all vascular specialists out there, but my symptoms were still persistent. Further research took me to Dr. Khitin's website and to me it seemed like he had different approach to treating veins. And he does indeed. After the treatment, my symptoms are completely gone. Few of my friends also scheduled their consultations after hearing my story.

Dr. Khitin and the staff at New York Vein Treatment is wonderful to work with. I found him to be extremely skillful and compassionate Surgeon. The procedure was exactly how he explained it would be. It was quick and no complications. My only complaint was wearing the compression stockings! The office staff was extremely helpful, especially with getting my insurance to approve the procedure. I had lots of injections and surgeries, and lots of frustration over these years. This was very first time in my life, when I felt great prior to, during and after the treatment! I usually do sclero once and sometimes twice per year. I will be honest I do not usually keep t the same doctor. This was the case as well :) They had some sort of special on sclero and I went. The doc offered me to try some sort of new laser. I do not remember the exact name. Something with the word pulse in the name. They charge per 15 min of treatment. They showed me video first - looked kind of cool so I decided to try. Overall I think this is better than sclero because there were no shots or needles. There was a little like a stinging sensation and there is like a small laser going between two tips of this machine and it remoes the small pieces of veins one by one. Ironically it ended up being more expensive than the sclero special I cam for, but I actually liked it better. Recommended.

About a year ago I had my third baby (yes, yes I know, but we really wanted one :)) Even after the second delivery (about 3 years ago) my varicose veins were showing pretty bad. My mom had the same thing, but back in the day the doctors did not recommend to do anything, as the symptoms were not bad enough to go "under knife". Nowadays with all these lasers and new technology my OB/GYN said it would be safe to take care of them. I went to Dr. Khitin based on a referral from my doctor. I believe it is too soon to say about the final results, but I am happy with what I see so far and I am happy with the doctor and the clinic. He is a very interesting guy. I liked how he spent a lot of time with me, patiently trying to "translate" the medical lingo with nature metaphors:) the rivers the go into the ocean etc. There was not pressure, I said that I will think about it and I did and I decided to go for it. As of writing this the exterior visible veins are gone. I do still see the "entry point" where he inserted the laser, but they said it will go away with time. It remains to be seen :) I saw one comment that it was a waste of time - at this point I do not agree, as I do see a difference, but I guess it depends what she had before she "went under" :) Hope this helps...

Found the doctor after a friend recommendation. As far as credentials go - the walls are covered with it. I think 2 board certifications, patents etc. I had 3 visits so far. On the first visit I waited about 15-20 minutes past my scheduled appointment time to be placed into a room. Then an Ultrasound Tech came in (a pretty nice guy) and did a study of what he explain was to test for "reflux". I was standing most of the study on something that looked like a small staircase. The study was about 20 minutes long. After that a doctor came in. He was nice and spent a very reasonable amount of time with me. Asked for symptoms and explained the study that was just done. I had insurance and he said they cannot do any procedures right away and need to approve it with the insurance. I was prescribed stockings and came a couple of weeks later for a checkup after that they called me and said insurance approved the procedure. I did my procedure before christmas on one leg and they told me I need to do one more on the other leg. The procedure itself was ok. I cannot say it is completely painless, you feel like a sting and than it is a bit uncomfortable feeling, but I do not think I would go as far as calling it pain. The doc was talking to me during the whole time (he has a pretty good sense of humor). There was another person in the room assisting. After the procedure the assistant asked me to hod the leg up and put bandages on the whole leg which they told me to wear for 48 hours before coming back to follow-up appointment. Overall I had a very good experience and coming back to do the second leg. You really have to follow their instructions for this to work. They told me to wear stockings for 2 weeks after the procedure, which I did. Good things: pretty good front desk, friendly staff, nice office (upper east side). Things to improve: I had an overall good experience, so I think I have nothing to say. If you have a car, like me, parking is expensive. I paid $35 to park by the office, but I am used to stuff like this in Manhattan. Overall - recommended.

I was looking for the doctor who can help me with my veins problem. There so many vascular surgeons here in NY but not everyone can perform the procedure correctly. From consultation I knew I would choose Dr.Khitin. Dr.Khitin is truly the best of the best. He is extremely knowledgeable, very personable and pleasant. His staff is professional and very courteous. He is prompt, yes, but very efficient and answers all questions in a polite and down to Earth form and he takes all the time you need to answer questions and won't push you into anything. Plus, he's as responsive and helpful after the procedure as before it something that's rare among doctors, at least in my experience. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience and can recommend Dr.Khitin to everyone.

I had sclerotherapy more than one year ago and I am left with a scar and discoloration around it, plus other discolored spots in a different area on the same leg, that look worse than my initial spider veins. The scar resulted after a bad ulcer; luckily there was no infection, but the wound was pretty bad right after the procedure and I had serious doubts that will heal without leaving any marks. I went back a few times to follow-up on these issues and every time I was told to wait. The initial visit with the doctor and his assistant went well, but every time when I went for follow-ups, I felt that people were annoyed that I even came in - first follow-up, they sent the assistant to check on my scar, second time they sent the lady who took the pictures (whose conclusion was something like -"well the veins are gone, so the procedure worked" - Really??) and third time they sent the pharmacist who was trying to sell me a cream that was supposed to help with discoloration. I did not want to spend more money on something that I didn't think it made any difference, but to her credit, she offered me the cream for free. As expected, after applying that as directed, I did not see any change. Now, I guess I will have to find another doctor to fix the what this one damaged. Besides, they could improve their "customer service" skills! The nicest was the pharmacist who really did not have any fault in all this!!

I came here for a consultation for bulging veins on my right thigh. Dr. Khitin was very polite and made sure to explain thoroughly my options for the treatment. I am very satisfied and relieved after seeing him and will definitely be getting the endovenous laser therapy in about 6 weeks, which is the time I have to wait with my insurance to cover the whole procedure.
