I hate the tip of my nose. It looks like an arrow head and I just want the tip lifted. I can't be out of a job for very long . So what is the best procedure for lifting the tip?
Answer: Best procedure to lift tip of nose ? Improving the nasal tip is a frequent request of patients wanting nasal refinement. It is possible to improve the cosmetic appearance of the tip alone without altering the rest of the nose in some patients. Whether the optimal option in your particular situation would be a tip rhinoplasty alone or a full rhinoplasty would best be determined at a consultation. Either procedure can be performed with a closed or open approach. Following the advice from a surgeon on this or any other website who proposes to tell you exactly what to do based on a limited 2 dimensional photo without examining you, physically feeling the tissue, assessing your desired outcome, taking a full medical history, and discussing the pros and cons of the operative procedure would not be in your best interest. I would suggest you find a plastic surgeon with extensive nasal surgery experience who is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and ideally a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) or a facial plastic surgeon (ENT) that you trust and are comfortable with. You should discuss your concerns with that surgeon in person. Robert Singer, MD FACS La Jolla,California

Answer: Better images required Please, do post better images. A tip lift only is feasible under local and sedation and as outpatient, this is made by a simple cartilage removal at the lower lateral cruras and/or lower septum.

Answer: Lifting the tip of the nose with closed rhinoplasty Closed rhinoplasty is less invasive than open rhinoplasty. Both approaches can lift the tip to the desired height. A full set of pictures are required before making any determination what can and cannot be accomplished. Lifting the tip of the nose can be accomplished with a variety of maneuvers performed during a closed rhinoplasty procedure, whereby all of the incisions are placed on the inside of the nose. Rhinoplasty is a difficult endeavor, so choose your surgeon wisely based on extensive experience. For many examples of lifting a droopy tip with a closed rhinoplasty approach, please see the link below

Answer: Best procedure to lift tip of nose ? From the attached photo, the tip is under-rotated making the nose appear long. If you are happy with the tip shape and only want the tip rotated, this can be done through an isolated and limited incision along the front of the anterior septum. This does not require a complete Rhinoplasty and as such has very rapid healing. You could fly in a couple of days after the procedure. Hope this helps.
