I had an under eye CO2 Fraxel treatment 10/31/18 and did not see any result. It's now 4 months later. Is that possible?

I keep seeing before and after photos from other PS Centers where only 1 treatment and the results are outstanding. And I continue to read that most patients need only 1 treatment. I was pretty swollen for about 4 days, and the pinkness/redness was gone after about a week. My skin peeled on day 2 and peeled for about 2-3 days total. I SWEAR I see more fine lines now than before I had the treatment. And the skin seems to be pulling in toward my inner eye making more lines?

The effects of lasers really vary from person to person. In my experience, some people notice a huge difference and it others the results are just mediocre. I would recommend you return to the doctor that did the procedure to review your photos and see if another treatment is recommended.The effect of a fractional CO2 laser will depend a lot on how aggressive a treatment was performed. If the redness was gone by one week, you may be a candidate for a more aggressive resurfacing.

As far as results from resurfacing...there are no free lunches. Quick recovery means little skin insult or little visible effects. It could have been the power settings or number of passes. Of course the pictures being published are the Doctors very beat results.
