In order to cause an indentation in somebody's nasal sidewall, they would have to be significant trauma, not just the weight of eyeglasses. Sometimes, eyeglasses can leave temporary marks, that disappear over the course of a day. If this indentation is present for longer than 24 hours, I suspect it might have been there all along.
