How soon can I get into pool water and ocean water after a BBL?

I appreciate your question.Best to wait until the incisions are healed before swimming.   I would also recommend that you discuss this question with your surgeon.  Your surgeon is your best resource as he/she is most familiar with your medical history and how you will be healing following surgery.

I will often recommend to patients to avoid swimming for about 3-4 weeks or until the incisions are sealed well.

I would assume your plastic surgeon would feel it's OK for you to get into the water regardless of ocean or pool five weeks after your procedure but each plastic surgeon will have their own criteria.Best,Mats Hagstrom, MD
