I am a Board Certified plastic surgeon located in Walnut Creek, CA. I am trained in plastic and reconstructive surgery, cosmetic surgery, hand, and burn surgery. Having graduated from USC Keck School of Medicine with an integrated residency position at the USC Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, I've had the opportunity to learn and work with some of the foremost experts in facial cosmetics, body contouring, and breast surgery in a variety of hospital settings.
BBL in Walnut Creek. Don’t bother going to LA there’s finally an incredible surgeon in the Bay Area experienced with Brazilian Butt Lifts. I had my surgery in December and am loving my results. My bottom finally has shape and volume again after having two children! Dr. Eberlin really listened to what I wanted and delivered.
I generally don't write reviews, good or bad. However, I definitely felt the need to share my experience with Dr Eberlin. He is absolutely AMAZING!! He's so attentive, kind and extremely personable! In fact, when you first meet him, he introduces himself as Dr Seth which immediately makes you feel at ease and makes you feel like you've known him for years! I went to Dr Eberlin about possibly fixing some issues I had with a previous plastic surgeon who did my original bbl last year. Long story short about my first PS, after 2 separate semi successful bbl procedures, and a whole lot of money later, he just couldn't deliver the results I was looking for which was more fullness on one side to make things more symmetrical and the all mighty projection. Desperate for better results, I decided to see a different PS to get a 2nd opinion and that's when I found Dr Eberlin! The best decision ever!! The consultation went great! He didn't rush, he listened and listened and then listened some more! In the end, Dr Eberlin was able to deliver what my last PS wasn't able to do in 2 tries, he gave me projection!!! I'm only 1 week post op at the time of this review, and the results are amazing!! I highly recommend Dr Eberlin if you want a PS who's going to listen attentively, tell you the truth and deliver amazing results!!
Dr. Eberlin is phenomenal! He used a combination of Botox and fillers to correct asymmetries that my previous doctor had never been able to accomplish. He took the time to explain everything. I never felt rushed, or pressured. I continue to have amazing results on every visit. The whole staff here makes you feel welcomed and cared for. Highly recommend!
Dr. Seth is a very talented, skilled and dedicated doctor, with an unparalleled gift for making his patients feel important, cared-for and at ease! My very recent experience as his patient was so positive that I feel compelled to share it. After very careful thought and consideration, I made the decision to have a necklift performed, and of course I wanted the best: a highly-skilled and experienced doctor that I could completely trust to perform the procedure. (my first cosmetic surgery). Dr. Seth absolutely exceeded my expectations in every way, ensuring that what could have been a scary, stressful experience was instead a reassuring and positive one. First impressions are lasting impressions: Dr. Seth made me feel at ease as soon as I met him, and within the first few minutes of speaking with him I knew he was a doctor whom I could trust. His professionalism, knowledge and years of experience in plastic surgery (as well as his super-kind and compassionate manner) were clearly evident as he thoroughly explained the procedure I was interested in, pointing out all of the options that were available and what each one entailed. When I made my decision to go forward with the surgery, the pre-operative visit was, once again, a thorough conversation in which every question or concern I had was addressed in detail. On the day of my procedure, I actually felt so reassured going into surgery that excitement prevailed over nervousness; I felt completely safe and protected. Post-surgery: pretty easy! I took my prescribed medication for a few days and got lots of rest; I’m now on a very smooth road to recovery. There was very minimal discomfort; in fact, one need not take the prescription medication for more than a few days for this type of procedure as Tylenol will do the job just fine. And the RESULTS? The results exceeded my expectations! Dr. Seth took great care to make sure my procedure was performed to perfection and he did not disappoint! I am so happy with my results and the difference in the way my neck looks; it is a dramatic and wonderful change. If anyone is considering having this procedure I highly recommend you seek out Dr. Seth for a consultation. ** Sheila, Dr. Seth’s assistant, and the medical professionals at the Shadelands Surgery Center also deserve high praise. This top-notch staff took great care to make sure I was comfortable and at ease on Surgery Day, and they are all super nice, too!
I got lipo on my flanks and abdomen in September 2022 with Dr. Eberlin The wait time to get the procedure and price were good compared to other providers in the area. Dr. Eberlin is friendly, and a good communicator. He was pretty accurate about what to expect. Some things weren't so great. I was told the doctor would call me after the procedure, which didn't happen. Then I was concerned an incision was becoming infected, so I emailed the office, and they didn't respond for 2 days (normally that wait time is fine but it was stressful when I thought I might have an infection). My final result is asymmetric; it's not embarrassing, and I don't think most people notice, but it's definitely there if you look, e.g. my waist dips in more deeply and also higher on one side than the other, and the fat comes out a few mm more on one side than the other. Looking at other photos on realself, that seems pretty common, so maybe it's not the doctor's fault, though most of those pics are closer to the surgery time so some of their asymmetry might go away. The doctor told me they could do a revision for free, but it's a lot of pain and time off work, so I probably won't do that.
I had lipo with Dr. Eberlin 11/2018 and weighed about 220 prior to surgery. Immediately post op I was about 227 which was explained as possible swelling/liquid. Since the survey, I’ve only gained weight. Lipo was done on my stomach, back and arms. Stomach isn’t even and the top now hangs over the bottom. My back has an indentation above my butt that would only be corrected during a revision. I was advised to wear a faja only for 2 months and was advised against lymphatic massages. I thought it was weird because of all the research I’ve done, but chose to listen to the Dr’s recommendations. Not happy with my results and currently looking for another Dr to fix what got messed up three years ago.
DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR…I went to Dr. Eberlin over a year ago for a few procedures but we will address my breast reduction and lift…I put my trust in him and tiold him exactly what I wanted.,.I could tell after the healing process he didn’t do a great job and when I went back for follow up he said just give it time…we’ll over a year later they honestly look worse then before…I’ve had several consultations with other doctors since and was told these were placed incorrectly and never lifted…I paid in full for his services and when I reached out to him I was brushed off with the typical generic answer and never heard from him again! He also did some skin tightening in my upper stomach right below my breasts that now looks awful…please do your research and find another doctor to do your procedure as I cannot stress enough how this doctor did an absolutely hack hope on me…
Thank you for your question. In general, tanning isn't a great idea because of how unhealthy it is for your skin. Yes, having a tan is nice in the short term but it also leads to higher rates of skin cancer as well as dry, leathery skin down the road. However, if you have to go tanning, please be sure to cover your incisions. For the next few months the skin where your incisions are is going to be much more sensitive to the sun/tanning booths. If they are exposed to the sun, the incisions can get dark very quickly and can stay permanently dark. I advise my patients to keep their incisions out of the sun for 3 months in order to prevent this.Good luck,Dr. Seth
Thank you for your question- this is a very common concern immediately after a breast augmentation. They are sitting high and there is a definite difference in the amount of swelling. The good news is that this is ok. The swelling will resolve over time (it generally takes a week or two) and the implants will slowly start to drop. This happens because your tissues gradually stretch and become accustomed to having the implants there.I don't think you need to be worried about this, but if you're still having concerns, definitely make an appointment to see your plastic surgeon. He/she will be able to perform a physical exam, answer any other questions you may have and hopefully calm your nerves a bit.Good luck in the rest of your recovery!Dr. Seth
Thank you for your question and I'm sorry that you're unhappy with your results. From your pictures I can definitely see what your concerns are. Without performing a physical exam it's difficult to tell if you have a capsular contracture or some other cause of the asymmetry. A revision may be partly covered by your initial surgeon, especially if you have a capsular contracture. Removal and replacement of the implants may also be needed in order to get the more natural, symmetric look you want. Costs for all of these are very variable and depend on the agreement you and your surgeon had before your initial surgery. The good news is that the recovery from a revision is shorter and less painful than the recovery from the initial surgery. Your muscle has already been lifted up and this tends to be the most painful aspect of the recovery. General anesthesia can be a scary thing, but it is incredibly safe and I don't think you should let that keep you from getting the final results that you deserve.Good luck!Dr. Seth
Thank you for your question. This is a relatively common concern- women would like to undergo a breast augmentation but they're worried that this will make it look like they've gained weight. And in my experience, this is usually not the case. In order to prevent this from happening, as well as to ensure that you get the results you're looking for, it is important to make sure that you and your surgeon choose the right implant.Choosing the right implant can be very stressful for some patients and surgeons. The best way to do this is to make sure that your surgeon understands the aesthetic look you want. Once you are both on the same page for this, he/she will take some measurements and give you some options. The measurements are important because if you choose an implant that is too wide for your rib cage, they will be too close in the middle and too wide and stick into your armpits. Having an implant that is too wide (or too narrow) can negatively affect your overall outcome. One great tool is the Mentor sizing kit. This lets you put anatomically shaped silicone pads of varying sizes into a sports bra to see what look you like best. I find this is much more effective than just putting implants in because of how much the shape changes.Good luck!Dr. Seth
Thank you for your question and congrats on your surgery! The hardest part of the recovery is over. Now it's just waiting for your tissues to stretch a little and heal. It is pretty common to have different rates of healing or different sensations on your right vs. left side after a breast augmentation. So I'd expect the tightness in your left breast to slowly resolve over the next few weeks and the implant itself should also settle down a bit to match your right side better.Give it a little bit more time and I think you're going to be thrilled with the results. Congrats again,Dr. Seth
