I am 4 days post op from a mastiplexy/augmentation. Dr put drains in and due to the amount of fluid I have to wait till tomorrow to get drains removed. However, wherever the drain is is more painful than the my surgery site. Is this normal? Should the drain site be this incomfortable? I feel like I'm taking pain meds just for that!

Thank you for your question. If you're happy with a natural appearance, you can probably get away with dual plane breast augmentation alone. If you want to be perkier with higher nipples, a limited lift would be required in addition to the implants. Good luck.
If we assume you do not want even a vertical scar, then your options are limited as are the possible results. This is because the distance needed to raise your areolas would be impossible to reduce with a cresent lift. You will be extremely disappointed if you try this. An augmentation alone...
The short answer to your question is yes your breast will drop and no they will not always look square. It is routine for patients who have breast lifts with implant placement to have a boxy look initially. I counsel all my patients that they will have "buyer's remorse" after this particular...
