How precise does Sculptra placement have to be?

One has to be just as precise in administering Sculptra as they would with any other filler and perhaps even more so. The reason for that is there is scar tissue or what you called collagen that will form approximately 6 to 12 weeks after the initial injection and if improperly placed it will cause a lump in that region. This product is injected into the dermal layer of skin! Avoid bony area and avoid deposit injection. It is best to be injected with a micro Cannula antegrade or retrograde when the product is warm and well mixed to avoid clumps or clogging of the cannula!
