What is this ugly weird looking bulge that is pushing out my tummy when leaning back after mini with muscle repair? (Photo)

Thank you for your question and photographs. It is possible that the bulge is a ventral hernia or a diastasis of the rectus muscles above what was repaired. I would see your surgeon for an evaluation. Either can be fixed with a revision surgery of full tummy tuck. You would probably want a general surgeon to repair the groin hernias but that could be done at the same time. Good luck.

It is impossible to answer your question with reading the operative report and examining you.   In general, if the lump is soft, most likely it is hernia. If it is hard and the surgeon tightened the muscle in that area it could be -granuloma - reaction to suture, or organized hematoma.   From the limited exposure of the picture, it appears that your abdominal wall is loose from the chest bone to below the belly button. With that in consideration, you will benefit from full tummy tuck and at the same time the bulge can be explored and taken care of.  Always consult with experienced board certified plastic surgeons who operate in accredited surgery center for your safety.
