If got the placebo & pain was really bad, does this hinder recovery time & healing? Are mini tummy tucks even that painful? What happens if I lift a kid before 6 weeks? One is 24pounds the other is 29pounds. Is this worth it? Even though I am happily married, I am the primary parent and those kids are my world. I do not want to hinder recovery or long term complications just for a free mini tummy tuck. Thank you!

In some cases a mini tummy tuck may cost a little less than a standard tummy tuck since it does not take as long to perform. However if you are a better candidate for a full tuck then it is best to have the surgery that will give you the best results. If you are unsure about the recommendation...
I know it's hard to be patient but you are still early in your recovery. Swelling is still expected and can continue for several more weeks. You should get a good feel for your results three to six months after surgery. I encourage you to continue to share your concerns with your surgeon.
I encourage you to speak to your surgeon's office about this. They should inform you of the steps to take to care for the drainage tubes until you can be seen. It's important to manage the drainage tubes as instructed in order to minimize risk of infection.
