Back in my younger years (16_18) I had medical issues that left me with one breast that was a tubular A cup and the other a nice round C cup.So once I was "fully" develop at age 18(2006) they placed one breast implant and made them matching. After 4 years(2010) my sailine implant ruptured.. It was replace with gel and now I am in the process of checking they believe my 325cc gel implant has rupture.(2019).. I just want it out but don't want One deformed breast and one normal breast.
Answer: Fat transfer to smaller or reduction of larger to correct asymmetry Unfortunately, you have not provided photographs or told us your current bra size. However, over the years you may have gained weight, which results in more fat in the breast. It may be possible to remove the implant and add fat to match the larger breast or reduce the larger breast to match the smaller one to achieve the symmetry you desire. Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Would a fat transfer help with the asymmetry- size and shape of removing one breast implant? (I only have one breast implant). Fat grafting can be successful after breast implant removal. Some of the success will depend upon existing tissue available for receiving the fat. The fat grafting will likely take several sessions to produce a similar result unless the breast implants were extremely small. Find a board certified plastic surgeon who performs hundreds of breast augmentations, revisions, and reconstructions each year to discuss your options. Answer: Fat transfer Dear SassyIvey, gat transfer is a great option if you want to resolve small breast asymmetry or if you want to get a small increase in size (up to one bra cup). But based on your information, it sounds like you have a significant difference in size so fat transfer probably won't be a good option for you. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Fat transfer Fat transfer will not produce the same look as an implant. Your surgeon will need to determine if you are a good candidate for fat transfer and if it will be enough to help you achieve the goals you have from surgery.

Answer: Breast Implant Removal + More Hello, and thank you for your question. (Keep in mind that an in-person consultation is necessary for the best advice.) Fat grafting can increase the volume and fullness of breasts. Usually patients must undergo multiple rounds of fat grafting to achieve their desired volume and fullness. This is because the tissue into which the fat is being transferred can only nourish a limited amount of (transferred) fat at a given time. Transferring too much fat in one session could result in the transferred fat not surviving---thereby risking developing oil/fat cysts (etc). If you decide to pursue surgery it’s very important that you find a surgeon whom you are comfortable with and trust and who evaluates you in-person and tailors an individualized treatment plan for you and your aesthetic goals. Best of luck! Matthew A. DelMauro, M.D.
