Retaining water year after liposuction. Is this normal?

February 2020 I had lipo & bbl. I had lipo on my inner thighs , arms, hips and lower back. After waking up from surgery I remember feeling so much pain and burning. Since then I would experience often tingling in my feet, legs and I have been retaining water so bad My primary doctor had to put me on Lasix because putting my feet up and staying away from salt wasn’t working. Is this normal ? Also my results came out horrible and uneven . Almost like he forgot to do one side or the other

The healing from liposuction causes a substantial amount of swelling. The swelling has a tendency to follow gravity and go down to the lower part of your lower extremities. Those who are prone to general edema will see this worse than those who are not. By 3 to 6 months this typically goes back to baseline.
