10 Weeks is too early to judge the final look of your belly button. Sometimes massaging ans silicone sheet / get can make it softer and lighter.
Thank you for your questions and photos.You are still in your early post operative period.It takes up to a full year for scars to mature and fade/soften.That said, if your scars are thickening and becoming raised your board certified plastic surgeon who performed your surgery can help with injections of steroids /5FU into scar tissue to help soften and flatten scars.If the scars are still unacceptable, your board certified plastic surgeon who performed your surgery may elect to revise your scars.Make a follow up appointment to discuss your concerns.Best of luck to you!
