Which facial filler swells the least?

This is really independent as voluma and belotero prob has the least potential to swell but belotero is for superficial and voluma for deep.  you can do a conservative amount of any filler and then touch up a few weeks later , which is often what I do for my high profile clients so if there is swelling its minmial.  Cannula injections limit side effects also.  Best, Dr. Emer.

I've found that both Belotero and Voluma draw in very little fluid and swell to a negligible degree. Belotero is often used for fine lines or the undereye area but can be safely used in facial regions. Hi Lolo.  If the filler looked lumpy and whitish under the skin, then it's not the filler, it's the injector.  Restylane Silk is a very smooth product which is quite easy to inject.  It does have swelling associated with the injections, but after the swelling goes down, the product should not feel lumpy.  The smoothest fillers with the least amount of swelling are the Hyaluronic acid based fillers such as Restylane, Juvederm and Belotero.  To see examples of before and after photos for lower face injections with Restylane, click on the link below.
