My surgery was January 23rd if this year so I am almost 4 months post op. I got 415cc on my left breast and 485cc on my right to correct some asymmetry. I’ve noticed my right breast has what looks like double bubble on the bottom. When I flex it looks even worse. Not sure what I should do :(
Answer: Double Bubble I am sorry to hear about your concerns. Based on your photos, it appears that you are suffering from the double bubble deformity on the left side. In some cases, this issue resolves itself with time in that the curve stretches out and eventually diminishes. However, at 4 months postoperatively, this issue is unlikely to resolve itself. An in-person evaluation will be necessary to properly assess your case and establish the best course of action. I recommend staying in contact with your surgeon regarding these concerns. Best of luck!

Answer: Double Bubble Hello,You'll need a revision surgery to have smaller implants placed. Merely fixing the double bubble will place the larger implant too high on the breast mound leading to asymmetrical upper pole fullness.

Answer: Double Bubble Deformity It would be great to see your preoperative photos, but I would bet you have asymmetry in the breast fold/creases which your surgeon tried to fix. I certain cases when the folds are tried to be evened out what can result is a double bubble. A double bubble is a transition point where the breast tissue stops and then the abdominal skin which has been recruited to act as the tuck starts. So there is no breast tissue there and now you see a double bubble. If the tucks are even then the better approach would be to camouflage the area with fat grafting, which works well. However, the animation deformity will not go away as that is a byproduct of having the implants behind the muscle. If the tucks are not even, then resetting the inframammary tuck by raising that side would also help, but fat grafting may still be needed.I would recommend you see a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options in person.Hope that helps.
