Breastlift scars. 9 months post-op. What can help Improve purple veiny scars? (photos)

I had a breastlift done 9 months ago and my plastic surgeon is recommending C02 laser. I’m terrified of the laser burning my areolas and potentially doing more damage than good. I’m currently using BioCorneum gel and skinuva. Any suggestions?
