Good Afternoon, Kimberly! After revision rhinoplasty, we expect swelling to persist through the 8-15 month mark, especially if the skin is thick. But, if you've noticed continual worsening, it would be worth visiting with a facial plastic surgeon who performs revision rhinoplasty often to see what's going on. It could be a skin related issue which would require treatment (even with a Dermatologist). It may be a good idea to have steroid injected, tape, and compress the nose to see if any improvement is seen over several months before jumping into another revision. Hope this helps!

There are a variety of causes, but the best initial treatment typically entails injecting steroids into the region to thin the soft tissue. An evaluation by a surgeon would be most beneficial, as well as obtaining a copy of the operative report. I'm sorry you're going through this, and I wish you all the best.
