Thank you for your question. There appears to be swelling in the supratip region. There are a variety of causes, but the best initial treatment typically entails injecting steroids into the region to thin the soft tissue. An evaluation by a surgeon would be most beneficial, as well as obtaining a copy of the operative report. I'm sorry you're going through this, and I wish you all the best.

Having a thicker skin-soft tissue envelope of the nose makes you prone to prolonged swelling. A series of steroid shots and taping at night should help.

Good Afternoon, Kimberly! After revision rhinoplasty, we expect swelling to persist through the 8-15 month mark, especially if the skin is thick. But, if you've noticed continual worsening, it would be worth visiting with a facial plastic surgeon who performs revision rhinoplasty often to see what's going on. It could be a skin related issue which would require treatment (even with a Dermatologist). It may be a good idea to have steroid injected, tape, and compress the nose to see if any improvement is seen over several months before jumping into another revision. Hope this helps!
