I lost about 60lbs that was gained due to a hormone imbalance at 13 yes old. I'm now 29 and am at a size 6-8 and about 25% body fat. Since I lost the last 20lbs I've been battling infections in my belly button constantly having to clean and sanitize in order to get rid of the smells and discharges. I shower daily so it's not a hygiene issue but I'm sick of it. I'm looking for advice on the best way to get rid of the skin causing the infections and what will improve the overall texture of my skin

Answer: Best Way to Get Rid of Loose Skin Around Belly Button?
Without a photo it is really not possible to conceptualize what is going on, nor therefore to offer a prediction of what happens as the healing progresses. Please consider re-posting with photos. All the best.
Please see your GP. You should get a physical examination to see what's going on. I'm not sure if it's a side effect of surgery or totally unrelated. Best of luck.
It is my opinion that a full tummy tuck procedure would be your best option for you. It is best to see a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon for this. For more information, please go to my website at:WirthPlasticSurgery.com
