34, female. History: status asthma,laryngeal spasms (Intubations required in the past) IgA immune deficiency. Severe allergies to some foods and medicine, almost everything environmental. (Some anaphylaxis) I had Botox for the first time 9 days ago. we discussed fillers, my doctor said that with my history it might be best to stay away from fillers. I have heard if Botox is used around the lip area it can make lips appear plump bc it lifts the lip? Suggestions? Shud I stay away from fillers?

Eyelid ptosis is a rare side effect of Botox and will resolve as the Botox wears off. You are doing the right thing using the eye drops for temporary relief. Hang in there, it will normalize. Lana Long, MD
