Rhinoplasty under local anesthesia or general anesthesia? I have a phobia of being awake during surgery .

Ive been to two consultations and the second doctor who seemed more trustworthy suggested i should do the rhinoplasty under local anesthesia, because general anesthesia can be more dangerous and he usually experiences more bleeding as opposed to local anesthesia and it costs a lot more too. Only problem is i have a phobia or an extreme fear of being awake during surgery and have had terrible nightmares considering such circumstances. Id like to know the pros and cons of both. Thank you!
