What can I do to correct curved rhinoplasty results?

Hello, I am a Caucasian 28 year old female. I had septo rhinoplasty in Europe 11 months ago. Post op I really liked my nose, it was straight and person. Over the last 4 months, it now appears sloped. I showed the surgeon via WhatsApp - he suggested hypertrophy of the tip? And that a steroid injection would help. You can see that it is very curved. I requested a straight nose. Any advice appreciated on how to proceed.

Nearly all of your swelling should be gone 11 months after surgery. If the area above your tip that is causing a curve feels firm, you may need to have that cartilage shaved down a drop. If it is not swelling, a steroid injection would be of no use and could lead to skin atrophy. Wishing you well moving forward. Sincerely, Dr. Joseph

As far as I can see from your photos I recommend revision rhinoplasty for a permanent and definitive solution, so you will be able to achieve the desired appearance with a single operation.

Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photographs, you appear to have fullness in the supratip. This could still be due to swelling at this point and you should definitely try steroid injections. If steroids, do not give the result that you would like then you may want to consider seeking secondary consultations for a possible revision. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.

The cartilage above the tip needs to be lowered a bit to create a straight line. You should take a side photos print it on a piece of paper and see what it looks like when you lower the bridge on the lower half and create a straight line
