Should I expect the bump on the side of my nose to go down in size as healing continues? 6 months post op (photo)

Hi it has been just over 6 months since my rhinoplasty and as the swelling has come down I have noticed a small bump on the side of my bridge (I think where the bone and cartilage meet) is this something that may likely reduce as the nose continues to adjust slowly?

Based on your singular photo, it's difficult to see a sidewall bump at the bony cartilaginous junction. Since you appear to have thin skin, in general, irregularities have to rhinoplasty surgery tend to become more prominent as swelling goes down. I recommend you to wait until your recovery process is completed which is full 12 to 18 months. Bumps are common aspects of your healing process. They arise due to changes in tissues and your body's reaction to healing. Best of luck to you

At 6 months post-rhinoplasty, the bump may still reduce as swelling subsides, with full healing taking 12-18 months. It could be residual swelling, scar tissue, or minor irregularities. Be patient, and consult your surgeon if it persists after a year, as non-surgical adjustments or minor revisions might be options.
