Rhinoplasty on bulbous tip + wide dorsal bridge and base? (Photo)

A closed rhinoplasty can be used to
refine the tip, reduce the hump, and narrow the bridge.  The skin may be thick, but your result can be close to the simulated goal.Find a board certified plastic surgeon who performs hundreds
of rhinoplasties and rhinoplasty revisions each year. Then look at the
plastic surgeon's website before and after photo galleries to get a

The bulbous tip is addressed with suture techniques to the lower lateral cartilages and sometimes a conservative cartilage removal when there is excess  cartilage present. The dorsal hump is composed of both bone and cartilage and is shaved down. Osteotomies will then be required to narrow the bridge line. Thick skin on the tip can be an impediment to healing process and will most likely require some cortisone shots the first few months after the procedure. Blenderm tape will help in the postoperative six-month period as well. 

It does appear that your skin is thick, but this is not a deal breaker in terms of whether or not you can have an acceptable improvement with a rhinoplasty.  Your one computer image seems realistic.  Often the limitation with thick skin is in how much the tip can be narrowed.  Seek a consultation with an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon to discuss your concerns. 

Based on your photos, you are a good candidate for a Rhinoplasty.   Consult with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who is very experienced in Rhinoplasty surgery for an exam, to discuss your expectations and what is realistic to expect. Your concern about thick skin will not deter you from a good result.
