Help. Rhinoplasty 16 months ago, had multiple sinus infections since the surgery. The tip of my nose has puss coming out!

Question

Since my Rhinoplasty 16 months ago iv had continuous sinus infections, with a foul odour inside my nose. The tip of my nose has been getting harder and harder over time and is now enlarged red In appearance and extremely painful to touch. My GP and the ER are hopeless and keep sending me home, so I applied tropical numbing cream, sterilised it and poked a 27g needle into the very top of my nose and a lot of puss came rushing out! What could be the problem here and what should I do?

The only times we have seen purulence come from the nose after rhinoplasty is when a foreign body implant was placed. Antibiotics may lead to Temporary Improvement, however, redness and pus typically follows. Removing the foreign body implant may be curative, if that's your situation. I hope this helps! It sounds like you may have an infected implant or cartilage graft that is causing the infection. If so the graft or implant would need to be removed

If you can provide photos from front of your face, from the side of your face and 1 meter away I would be able to make a proper evaluation.
