Can I have RF microneedling done after Sculptra? If so, how long should I wait?

I’m 32 y/o fair-skinned cis-woman prepping for my upcoming wedding in fall 2022. Planning to have sculptra injections in a week from now and considering RF microneedling (vivace) a few weeks after that. Would RF microneedling negatively affect my sculptra results?

In my opinion, having RF micro needling done a few weeks after Sculptra treatment should not cause any issues.  The RF micro needling should not have a negative impact on your Sculptra results.

RF microneedling will not interfere with sculptra results; however if the treatments are done close together, you will experience more swelling. Because sculptra is injected deeper and microneedling focuses on skin surface irregularities, they can be done relatively close together. It sounds like you have already spaced them a few weeks apart so you should be A-OK! Hope this helps :)

You can have RF micro needling safely done a few weeks after Sculptra treatment and there should be no concerns, as the RF micro needling should not have a negative impact on the Sculptra results and it could be even helpful to stimulate collagen superficially on the skin, while the Sulptra will continue working deep in the dermis.RegardsDr Ayham Al-Ayoubi
