90 days ago had Botox on crows feet by facial PS. 3-5 days later cheeks felt tight and could barely smile. Right cheek has seemed to get much better but there is a deep indent (shelf) on left cheek when I smile. C bone area looks very flat at rest. Worsen of nasolabial fold too. Got second opinion from PS- she said cheek ptosis and zygomaticus was affected. 3-6 months. Do you agree with this? I'm so distressed. Could there be permanent paralysis? Cheek isn't lifting past shelf.

If you are unhappy with the appearance of your upper lip, there is no need for concern since the effects of Botox will be completely gone in 3 to 4 months. I hope this is helpful. Sincerely, Dr. Joseph
Botox effects are temporary. You should return to your pre-treatment appearance as the product effects gradually fade, typically over three to four months though for some it can be a bit longer. You can try to address the creases with other treatments such as Morpheus8. We also recommend...
You will be completely safe to have Botox or any other neuromodulator treatment at this point, and it will not affect the results of your Ellacor procedure.
