Age 21, female, thick skin - is persistent swelling 2 years after rhinoplasty cause for concern?

I am a 21 year old female of Mexican descent. I have very thick skin- especially on my nose.

This can be used to treat rhinophyma which is a chronic skin condition that causes the nasal tip skin to become bulky and deformed. For normal skin that is thick, this may not be recommended.

You nasal tip droops when you smile because it is weak. A well performed rhinoplasty will strengthen the tip so it won't droop when you smile. While it doesn't increase the show of your teeth, the lip will most likely look better. Be sure to see a rhinoplasty specialist for consultation.

Hello! Thank you for your question. You have a deformation after rhinoplasty. You should talk to your surgeon about this deformation.
