How To Remove Weird Hard and Dark Bump on Shoulder? (Photo)

Question

It appeared about 2 years ago and has stayed ever since. It's not a raised bump but feels hard under the skin. to the touch. I hate the dark color of it. What would be my best option to remove it?

Mole removal begins with a comprehensive examination and consultation to determine the likelihood of a mole being worrisome. Excisional and incisional biopsies are reserved for suspicious moles. But it’s good news that most moles are not problematic and are only cosmetic, thus leading to the option of scarless or non-surgical mole removal with lasers and RF and plasma. Hi there! I would recommend excisional biopsy of the lesion. This is where we remove the lesion and send it for Pathology to ensure no malignancy. If you would want to know what it is without full removal, a punch biopsy in clinic would be a good starting point. The procedure should be able to be done in clinic and would be relatively painless. Typically lesions like this can be cut out but does leave the potential for scar formation. The first step to treatment would be to see a board-certified dermatologist in your area to determine a diagnosis. From there they should be able to guide you on how best to treat it.
