Hi there! I would recommend excisional biopsy of the lesion. This is where we remove the lesion and send it for Pathology to ensure no malignancy. If you would want to know what it is without full removal, a punch biopsy in clinic would be a good starting point. The procedure should be able to be done in clinic and would be relatively painless. Typically lesions like this can be cut out but does leave the potential for scar formation.
