I want a smooth transition from full cheek to slim jaw, as you can see in the current vs desired photos. What techniques would be suitable to get these effects? I think I want to reduce the fat in the jowl/perioral area, increase the fullness above the jowl (lower mid-cheek), and lift/tighten the skin. But I’m not sure if this is the right approach. One thing I *don’t* want to do is put an filler or enhancement on my cheekbone. It’s too prominent already.

Answer: Liposuction with FaceTite/Accutite can really smooth and tighten the lower face under local.
It's difficult to say without the benefit of a formal evaluation. This is my expertise and a huge portion of my practice. Asymmetry is normal and expected. See an expert who does facial shaping with surgical and non surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.
Thank you for your questions. The person best equipped to reverse what was done was your original surgeon. I suggest you return to him or her to review your concerns and discuss options. Otherwise, you are going to have to see another plastic surgeon who is board certified by the American Board...
The zygomatic bone can not be moved forward, only an implant can provide forward projection. Osteotomies to the zygoma can create changes in width but not changes in anteroposterior projection.
