Why can't you receive a hair transplant from a cadaver or another person if you are a good match?

November 28, 2013

I am studying allogenic hair transplants, and I was wondering if you have the same bloodtype and share many antigens in common then would your immune system still reject the donor (cadaver) hair? Or why aren't bone marrow transplants performed with the donor's blood immune cells to eliminate the need for immunosuppression. If a female like me has extreme depression because of having thin hair, then isn't such a risk justified?
