Hello, 23y male, I have a receding chin and I would like it a bit more projected. I don't expect to be Henry Cavill just want it to go a bit further, more projected. Am I a candidate for genioplasty ? I have no apnea problem nor a huge biting problem. I just have my lower teeths standing behind my upper teeths a little bit but never had problem with closing my mouth totally. My only problem is the aesthetic of my side profile

I advise a CT to determine the required length and horizontal projection. There are certain normal distances that can be used to help decide the amount of length. For example, the distance from the inferior most aspect of your chin to the tip of your lower incisors should be 42-44 mm. Any amount...
I recommend jaw surgery when there is a functional deformity (difficulty eating/chewing food). Otherwise, a sliding genioplasty or chin implant. With small horizontal movements, a chin implant is easiest.
It appears that both genioplasty and chin augmentation with implant would be viable options in your case. In person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon is recommended.
