I am a female with AGA and have used minoxidil 5% for 6 months now and barely see a difference in the amount of hair I have . If I stop now, will it make my hair fall out suddenly?

The burn would have to be quite extensive to cause damage to the hair follicle. If you experience any mild hair fall out it will likely be temporary.. Just be a bit more careful in the next few months and brush / comb hair more gentily as it might be more fragile now.
While minoxidil works for some, the problem with the medicine is that
it does not stop hair loss, and the DHT will continue is binding to the
hair shaft which will eventually overtake any additional growth caused
by the Minoxidil and die, perhaps just slightly later than it would have
