Pain after 2 months of facial fillers?

I did facial filler for my cheeks. The injection was done by a surgical doctor under my eyes.i did that on 23rd June and I still have pain I. My cheeks and itching and I feel that there is fire irking inside the cheeks. I went back to the doctor and got antibaitoc with no use.i feel pressure on my nose and eyes.

Thank you for your question and I'm so sorry to hear you are having these issues.  It is possible that your filler or the needle used to inject it may have irritated a bundle of nerves that exits from the cheekbone a couple of centimeters below the pupil (if you are looking straight ahead).  If this is the case, it may take a few months for this to resolve on its own as is typical for this sort of problem.  If you were treated with a hyaluronic acid filler, treatment with hyaluronidase to dissolve the filler may also help relieve the feeling of pressure.  Injecting the cheek area is best done by a well trained and experienced physician injector with good knowledge of facial anatomy to help reduce the incidence of this problem. I hope this helps!

What kind of filler did you have injected? You may be experiencing an allergic reaction. Your doctor may wish to try corticosteroids to see if your symptoms may improve.
