I suggest seeing a cosmetic dermatologst who specializes in lasers and microneedling for asian skin types.  This is a significant proportion of my practice, you need a very detailed treatment plan.  Long term you will want antiaging procedures like clear + brilliant or fraxel combined with skin care.  Often fillers under the eyes help as well.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Hi Vivian.  If the lines you are speaking about are the slight indentations at the upper cheek about 1.5" below the eyes, then filler is the best option for you.  If you do cannot use filler to treat them, you may just have to wait until a later date to address them.They are associated with your genetics and it's likely that your Mom or Dad had them.  To see an example of before and after pictures for a Riverside, CA patient that we treated with this same issue, click on the link below.

The lines are an early sign of volume loss and fillers are man to replace the lost volume. No cream or laser will help you to soften those lines. I suggest you save up and see an expert for a proper placement of the filler taking into account your ethnic background. Asian skin and features require expertise.  Hope this helps. Thanks for your question, Vivian.  The lines that I can notice in your photos just below your maxillary cheek are a natural break in facial contours.  They are not due to sunburn and technically they are more of a "fold" than a "wrinkle".  The difference between the two is that "folds" are best treated by filling with a substance like Juvederm Ultra Plus or other HA filler.  Unfortunately, topical creams will not correct this issue.
