I'm 67, active and not overweight. My upper arm skin is looking wrinkled as well as above my knees. What laser procedure lasts the longest? I'm light skinned and grew up a redhead. Thank you
Answer: Morpheus8 provides permanent results by helping aid the production of collagen and tighten the skin Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Skin tightening for Arms and Knees There are several options for skin tightening in the areas you mentioned. The simplest is RF microneedling, which is done in many med spas across the country. This usually takes 3 sessions and works well. Results will last a few years. The best option is either laser lipo (Lipo AI) or Renuvion with or without fat removal. Both of these give better results and much longer lasting (5+ years). Both can be done in an office based OR with tumescent local anesthesia. Hope that helps!

Answer: Skin tightening options for over 60 years old Thank you for your question. Seen a photo would have been very helpful. Have you ever had any treatments done to that area? How loose is it? Did you experience significant weight loss causing the skin to sag?We lose 2% of collagen every year as part of the aging process, which starts around 25 years old.The goal of every single laser procedure is to enable body to produce collagen. The difference is how each laser does it. Then, the duration of the result is dependent on the "half life" of collagen. After 50, after hormonal changes like menopause, your ability to make collagen is not the same as well as the collagen you make is not as strong or robust and doesn't last more than 1 year. The collagen production is affected by aging, hormones, skin quality, medications, lifestyle, etc. There is no single treatment that will work best. Combination is the key. at 67, you likely have some fat loss in the arm area in addition to collagen and elasticity loss.I recommend you seek a consult for surgical vs non surgical options to remove saggy skin as a starting point.Good luckBest,Dr.Anna Avaliani, NYC

Answer: Skin tightening An in person evaluation is best, but from your description you may be a candidate for BodyTite. This minimally invasive procedure uses RF technology to stimulate collagen and elastin resulting in skin tightening. Morpheus8 treatments can be added for enhanced results. See a board certified plastic surgeon near you, or my website to learn more.

Answer: Morpheus Hello oneparadox2! My name is Jessica, I am a physician assistant, and one of the providers at Shah Facial Plastics. Based on your history, I recommend the Morpheus8 radiofrequency treatment. This treatment is amazing for skin tightening and can be used on multiple areas of the body. However, I highly recommend scheduling an in-person consultation in order to better assess the areas of concern and discuss an appropriate treatment plan to help achieve your aesthetic goals. Our office phone number is: (312) 944-0117. I hope this helps and best of luck!
