TT scar Revision Incision Sinking In? (photos)

I had scar revision surgery 5 days ago. I've been following my surgeons instructions but my incision looks oddly sunken in... My follow up appointment isn't for another two weeks so I was wanting to know if this looks normal or if I should schedule my appointment for an earlier date?

Thanks for your inquiry,  both the Cleveland Clinic and Ohio State in Columbus have residency programs, but that does not mean they a resident's clinic will necessarily save you a lot of money.  Good Luck

Hello,Your wound needs more frequent dressing changes.  Once this is instituted, you will find it will no longer smell badly, and it will begin to heal much, much more quickly. You surgeon needs to show you how to do these 'normal saline wet to dry dressings', and should either do them for you ...

Postoperative swelling can significantly change early postoperative result. Give it at least 3 months before you start critically evaluating true result of your surgery. Keep in touch with your surgeon and discuss your concerns and options. Good luck.
