Swelling is very common after any surgery. For a BBL, I tell my patients to give it about 6-8 weeks for most of the swelling to subside.
Thank you for your question. Too early to judge on the final result. You are still at the healing stage. The area in your lower back will be still bruised and swollen and this will take 8-12 weeks to settle. Wear your garment and keep your follow up with your surgeon. You have to give your body at least 12 weeks to start seeing results and final results can take 3-6 months depending the way your body heals
Thanks for the great question! After a BBL the fat shouldn't drop at all, it should remain where it was placed. During the first 4-6 weeks some of the fat will be reabsorbed though. I tell patients that typically 50-75% of the fat should remain after a BBL. At two weeks after surgery you are likely still swollen. Give it some more time and this should improve. Best of luck and congratulations on your surgery.~Dr. Sieber
