As far as I know there are no contraindications to receiving Radiesse while taking Spironolactone. Bruising and swelling are fairly common side effects of Radiesse injections. These may be worse if you are taking aspirin or other anti-inflammatory medications.
There is no contraindication that I am aware of. The biggest risk of Radiesse treatment is bruising from the injection itself. This risk is heightened if you take aspirin or any other blood thinning medications. I hope this information is helpful.Stephen Weber MD, FACS
There should be no added risks with Radiesse if you are taking spironolactone. It's always good to let whoever is injecting know what medications (prescription and non-prescription) you are taking, as well as vitamins, supplements, homeopathic remedies, and herbs.
