Would wearing a mouthguard when boxing be enough to protect my veneers?

I have 10 composite veneers on my top teeth. If I get a custom made mouth guard, and participate in boxing, sparring and potentially amateur fights, will my veneers be protected by this mouth guard? or will they be at a decent risk of being knocked out? Thanks
