Paula is excellent and did a fantastic job with the mouth guard that she created for me to prevent me from grinding my teeth. She also did something amazing which was fix my bite! This helped significantly even before receiving my mouth guard. I suffer from chronic headaches, and they have been reduced since receiving this. Paula is also a very kind, energetic, warm-hearted person. You can tell she absolutely loves her job and what she does, and pays close attention to detail. Overall it was everything I was looking for.
Dr. Paula Gould has been my dentist for as long as I can remember. My periodontist recommended her for my routine dental care. However, after many years of periodontal work, my teeth started to shift. When it came time to restore my smile, Dr. Gould suggested "Veneers." The procedure was quick and painless, and the results were "amazing." Dr. Gould is kind, patient & caring and has always had my best interest at heart. Five stars plus!
Paula is great at her job! She is kind, accommodating and she has taken years off of my face. I am so grateful to have met her. I highly recommend Paula to anyone who is looking to get Botox.
Paula is wonderful. She is extremely diligent, detail oriented and works to ensure the patient is happy! She checks in throughout the entire process and will course correct accordingly. Such a pleasure to work with. Would highly recommend!
Where do I begin? To start, Dr. Gould and her staff are just a joy to be around. They're so personable, you feel like you've been a client for years. The time and attention Dr. Gould takes with her clients doesn't go unnoticed. On my first visit as I sat in the waiting room, I spoke with another client who couldn't say enough good things about Dr. Gould; she assured me I made the right choice... and I knew after that visit that I'd finally found the right dentist! Her work speaks for itself. So glad I found her! Thank you, Dr. Gould!

I have been going to Dr. Gould for years and she is a true professional and perfectionist! She really demonstrates her art ability when working on your teeth especially on crown work. I have also had Dr. Gould put veneers on my upper bite and I have received so many compliments on my teeth including a few from other individuals in her professional field.
When I first went to see Dr. G it was for a dental check up, I had not been to a dentist in a few years. She was very open, kind and very professional in making me feel at ease. She has a wonderful staff and a beautiful space, that you really do not feel like you are in a dentist's office. She will probably have on some great tunes and greets you with her big infectious smile. Dr. G also has administered Botox to me as well. She will tell you what you need rather than selling more than what you actually need. Just a real pleasure to visit with her cause that's what you feel you are doing. Just visiting and talking and have a great time with her and her staff. If you do not have a dentist, I strongly recommend Dr. G.
When veneers are used to close spacing between teeth, the gum and boney architecture is a big factor. I am only guessing, but since the veneers appear somewhat wide, I can assume that some opened spacing was the beginning problem.I would have to see Before photos and higher up under the lipline to help explain what veneers can and cannot do with respect to the gumline. Sometimes there isn't sufficient gum to fill the large spaces. How were the temporaries? The before picture of what you started with holds all of the answers. Veneers can be used to widen teeth to close spaces, but they still have to have a natural shape and be made in particular proportion to one another. In some cases, there just isn't enough gum to fill the spaces totally. This should have been addressed in your temporaries by you and your dentist together. If I saw a photo of your temporaries, how they were made, how your gum tissue responded to the temporary margins, how was your hygiene, did you have any laser therapy to your gums.. ALL questions I need answers to and photos of to diagnose your problem. You also could go to a periodontist , a gum specialist to see if there is a problem with the Veneer shapes or it is a gum problem itself.Come with photos of all the phases of your treatment to help them answer your questions. Good luck. The gums you now see, are just as important as the veneers.
Seems like you are missing the point of receiving masseter injections. These should only be done after a thorough dental exam to find the underlying cause of the asymmetry and pain. All massager pain is associated with the teeth and there positioning in the jaw. This is not a cosmetic procedure. These injections should be done coinciding with dental treatment to find the root cause. If the cause is not treated, the Botox will never be totally effective alone.
I do cases like yours all the time. Sometimes even after Invisilign or conventional braces, the cosmetic look of the smile is not pleasing. It can be due to a lot of things. The shape of the teeth have a lot to do with it. Also the size of the teeth. If the teeth are naturally small, then bonding the corners can make the teeth appear wider. If some teeth are too pointy or long for your liking, the enamel can be easily rounded, while keeping the bite in correct proportions. My suggestion, figure out beforehand what it is exactly that bothers you. Have photos ready of smiles that you like. A good cosmetic dentist will give you an idea what can be done and how many teeth will be involved to get you a more pleasing smile. I even do a Trial Smile with a little pretend bonding to see how it might look....so both the patient and I are on the same page and like the Mock results. Then in my office, if it is a one visit fix, I usually base my fee on the time is will take, and the number of teeth involved. Hope that helps. Search Instagram for the words bonding or cosmetic bonding and cosmetic dentists will have some cases for you to see. Then set up a consultation and see if their suggestions are in line with your thinking and address what improvements you want to see. It's a misconception that after orthodontics you will have the exact smile that you love. Sometimes little changes can yield just what's needed to get you from OK to something you ❤️
Taking a shot directly to the mouth, even with a mouth guard in can cause damage. Your whole jaw could break even with a mouth guard in place. That is the risk you take when boxing. It might prevent minor chips from the jaw being nudged, but any blunt force trauma to the jaw could cause breakage to the veneers, to teeth, and jaw even with a nightguard in place. You wear it to hope it works, but no guarantees. Sorry.
Whenever I see weakened edges or chipping on the edges, I immediately look for a reason. The reason most likely is the positioning of your lower teeth. Most likely there are 1 or 2 teeth on the lower arch that fit directly into those chips like puzzle pieces when you move the lower jaw forward or forward and sideways. Most good cosmetic dentists or any dentist who is educated enough in how teeth fit together, called occlusion, should be able to correct this easily with cosmetically shortening the lower teeth that are causing the chipping, and then smoothing the edges of your upper teeth. Sometimes there is a more complicated bite problem where 1 or more lower teeth could be too short and worn, a major cause of teeth chipping on the edges.Seek the advise of a cosmetic dentist who most likely knows more about this type of problem, as we see this every day and have to correct this situation whether in natural teeth or in veneers. When bites are not working correctly, either in natural teeth or with veneers, we have to look for the culprit first, correct it, and then cosmetically address the chipping teeth.I'm always surprised at how many dentists are not well trained or comfortable analyzing this with a simple fix. I cannot see your lowers, but I bet anything, they are not perfectly straight and are one of the causes. Am I right? Find the right dentist to analyze and correct, and your problem will not reoccur!
