I know it's too early to see final result but one side is so much higher than the other. I don't think it's possible to lower the higher side because skin is tight and on the lower side the skin is loose. It however makes everything unsymmetrical including hips.any suggestion ? It's still better than what I had but of course is bugging me. By the way you are wonderful doctors giving your time to answer our questions.

Answer: General anesthesia for scar revisions You've posted before as your scars are recognized. The type of anesthesia is usually dictated by the extent of your procedure. If you were my patient and wanted the lower side raised up to match the higher side, a general anesthetic would be recommended to make this as comfortable for you as possible. If you only needed a smaller scar revised, then local can be done.

Answer: Scar Treatment Yes your scar ca be lowered. Wait one year and it can be lowered better and easier. You umbilicus and abdominal scar seem heavily pigmented. You would benefit by daily use of a Retin A - Hydroquinone cream such as HQRA and then a scar silicon cream such as Biocorneum. I would wait till you are a full year for revision. This one year rule gives your tissues the best chance and your surgeon the best chance for a perfect improvement. My Best, Dr C PS. General anesthesia always and in a certified Operating Suite. Always!
