Is redness of keloid scar reduced by fractional CO2 lasers? (Photo)

Keloid scars usually require a combination approach to get the most improvement with lasers (fraxel, pulsed dye, yellow laser), microneedling/prp and 5FU/steroids. Surgery with or without radiation is an alternative. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a scarring expert. Best, Dr. Emer

outstanding treatment that can address multiple aspects of aging in a single
treatment. Scars can be treated with this treatment; it will improve the texture and decrease the thickness of the scar. For redness other treatments such as KTP, pulsed dye, or IPL are recommended. Please consult with a doctor for specific recommendations.
