Answer: Redness in the face For the redness in the face, the best treatment option is IPL (Intense Pulse Light). This laser goes after redness shrinking the blood vessels that cause the redness. You will need a series of treatments usually spaced 2 weeks. Standard treatment requires 5 but sometimes it takes more. In addition the IPL laser also would remove age spots and enhance collagen so the skin texture would improve as well.

Answer: Redness around Nose I have to agree with all the experts who have already weighed in. IPL (or better yet, BBL - Broad Band Light) is a treatment which has little or no downtime, is fabulous for reds and also browns of sun damage and also has a number of other benefits including increasing collagen and potentially slowing skin aging. Make sure to seek out a physician who uses their IPL/BBL very regularly.

Answer: Best Treatment for Redness Thanks for your question. You can more than likely be helped with an IPL Photofacial. It is excellent for removing both reds (vascular) and browns. While these devices and services are readily available, make sure you choose someplace where the treatment is actively supervised by a physician. Real Self is filled with horror stories and pictures of IPL treatments gone wrong. Most of these were probably caused by bad equipment, technique, training or settings. Find a place where you get to meet the physician and you get a personal consultation.
