I have a stiff lower abdominal bulge after a tummy tuck, is this normal? (Photos)

I had a tummy tuck with lipo flanks 16 days ago. I know that swelling is normal but my lower abdomen if really stiff all the way down and I look bloated. I've kept my garment on all the time as directed by my doctor. My tummy is super hard and as the days pass it doesn't seem to go down. Do I have to wait for the swelling to go down or is this it? Will I eventually have a flat stomach? I feel I look the same as I did before but stiff with a bonus scar.

Please see your Plastic Surgeon.  It looks like you have a seroma.  This is very common after a tummy tuck (especially with liposuction too).  It is straightforward to drain in the rooms.  If your stomach was fat immediately post operatively, then you should expect to return to that nice flat shape.  I'm sure all will be well, but get checked by your surgeon.  Regards Kim
