Hi, I had ptosis surgery 6 weeks ago on my right eye. I think the doctor took too much skin from my eyebrow. I was born with the droopy eye so he tighten some of my eye muscles. I think he did it too tight, I can not close my eye it is half way open and it dries out ALL the time. I can not look up all the way and when I look down it looks like that eye is still looking up. I can not blink either. My doctor says it is fine, but I am soo scared it this normal? How am I ever going to close my eye again?

Most people have some degree of asymmetry. One of the attributes of models is that they demonstrate more symmetry which is deemed pleasing to the eye. However, your situation is within normal limits and you shouldn't be perturbed by it.
It sounds as if you'd like the sweeping Asian-style eyelids. The Asian lid has a distinct fibrous fat pad that is not really there in the western lid. There is also a difference in the attachment of the lid skin and subcutaneous tissue to the tarsal plate. This would be difficult to reproduce,...
Swelling tends to persist making the eyelids look heavy and with high creases. As the swelling resolves this slowly proves. It is really 6 to 12 months before one can judge if a revision is needed.
