Suppose we got good results with prp treatment, can we maintain those results (same density and thickness) for years by taking proper yearly or half-yearly maintenance treatment, and by years I mean someone is in his early 20s and want to maintain results for a long time?

I would say diffuse hair loss after PRP would be rare. Did you have any other changes in your lifestyle? Change in your diet or weight loss? Most of my patients report a decrease in hair shedding after PRP treatments.
