There are more than 5 techniques but the important thing is that very large ones can be treated by ultracision microphlebectomy with care taken not to injure the frontal sinuses.Smaller ones can be injected with sclerotherapy.Other treatments are long pulse laser (Nd YAG for example) and RF.

As we age, unfortunately, fat disappears from places we may not want it to (like the hands and face...especially temples) and ends up in different places we don't want it either. There is hope! We have had great success and many happy patients that we have treated with either laser and/or fillers to address these issues.  Some vessels are easily and safely treated and others can be hidden or disguised with something like Radiesse or Sculptra.  (Same with the hands, btw)  Of course it's difficult to say exactly without seeing you in person but know that for the most part, there is hope for those vessels.

In my experience there is, unfortunately, no good treatment for the problem you describe. Many things have been tried but all, in my opinion, are unreliable and sometimes problematic.
