Is pressure on the bridge of the nose normal after Rhinoplasty?

I had rhinoplasty almost 2 weeks ago. I've been experiencing pressure on my bridge whenever I lay down. It feels like something is pushing against the middle of my nose. This then causes a headache which makes sleeping difficult. Is this pressure sensation normal?

Everyone's recovery is different but I have heard people describe similar symptoms. If you're otherwise healing well this is likely not something to worry about. Pressure on the nose during the early post-op period is not uncommon.  It may be more uncomfortable in a dependent position.

It is common to have some discomfort after surgery. I would ask your surgeon at follow up to evaluate you and see if there is anything to be concerned about. Without the benefit of exam it is hard to say. Good luck
