Would using Cool Sculpt cause frostbite or permanent damage to my skin? I have Cold Uritcaria

I have a condition called Cold Urticaria which I consider severe. I react very quickly to anything cold that touches my skin, ie hives, pain. Would using the cool sculpt cause frostbite or permanent damage to my skin?

Unfortunately, cold urticaria is one of the few contraindications to CoolSculpting treatment.  Fortunately, there are other non invasive devices on the market that do not use cold temperatures, such as Vanquish, which utilize radiofrequency to destroy fat cells.  Consult with an experienced provider who can direct you to the best treatment modality for your needs and that will best fit with your medical history.

You should not have coolsculpting. If you are interested in non surgical procedures for fat, try Radiofrequency devices.

One of the absolute contraindications to Coolsculpting is cold urticaria. It could be dangerous. If you want to try a non invasive modality, think about ultrasound or radiofrequency treatments.Hope this helps
